Um hello! Yeah it's been awhile... again... this time I'm not going to try to keep up or post date things, even though my ocd may make that crazy, instead I'm just going to start again. (Ok I'll maybe add 1-2 posts from January or February, but we haven't really been up to a WHOLE lot so it won't be hard to update.)
My cousin over at Home Sweet Harney just started a blog... a DIY/home renovation/design blog. It's so great! She's really my husband's cousin, BUT the few times (which needs to change) I've hung out with her, we hit it off and I can easily tell we'd be great friends if we only got to see each other more often. Same style, same taste, she's definitely more talented than me on the craft and DIY stuff, but that's ok, cause I know I'm still pretty good too :) .Anyways she just inspired me to write a little tidbit update and maybe I can keep up with the blog thing afterall. Also... it doesn't hurt that we just got a new (to us) camera. It's a Canon dSLR and that's the most I could tell you, I have a lot to learn still.

A little therapy….
So… let’s have a little truth and honesty session here. I haven’t blogged in a while, because I’ve been feeling intimidated. Not that I have more than five readers (on a good day), but I read all these amazing blogs and they look so pretty and have amazing photograph that I do not have to time or knowledge to produce. Group Two isn’t near that level, thus I feel defeated and don’t even try.
Yesterday I had a chat with a fellow sporadic-blogging friend and realized that’s all silly. I’m not blogging to be a blog star, DIY maverick, or the next Martha Stewart- although that part would be cool, I view my blog as a way to share our life, and maybe brag just a little bit about the cool things I make (in a nice way of course!). Plus, as much as I’m a Facebook stalker, I’ve gotten a little leary about posting things on there, I have no good reason for this so don’t ask me why : ).
So, to my five readers, thanks for checking in with me and your sweet support. I do enjoy writing and blogging and I hope to do a little more of it and be on the ball. And tell you about all the CRAY CRAY things my kids do. Stay tuned!
Cheaters: So I totally cheated, and I’ve post-dated a few posts in July and August to make my blog a little more cohesive and relevant to what we were doing then.. If you subscribe via email, I have no idea how this sent out. But take a look and see what we’ve been up to.

OMG it's June!
So YES it has been FOREVER since I blogged!
May was a busy month, I'll try to post some pictures of the highlights; my birthday, mothers day, family in town, graduations, a wedding with the cutest little ring bearer.....
The other MAJOR (and real reason) is that the hubs re-hauled my computer and I don't have Windows Live Writer anymore. Yes, I know you can blog with out it, but it sure makes it easy (and one lazy) if you use it. ANYWAYS, I'm trying some new programs, hoping to find one I like as much as Live Writer. Any suggestions fellow bloggers?
So back on the saddle. Speaking of, who watched Hatfields and McCoys? SOOO good right? We watched all three parts in one night (and didn't go to bed until 2am). It's on the History Channel, definitely for a mature audience, but overall, we enjoyed it.
Ok, I'll be back soon with some recent projects!
And here's some pictures just for fun...

Happy Birthday Ryne Charles
Today my sweet baby boy turns one. A year ago we had NO IDEA what kind of first year this was going to be. Ryne was born with a heart murmur that was diagnosed as congenital heart disease. He will have to see a cardiologist all of his life to monitor a few issues with his heart.

I never thought I would learn so much about the human heart in it’s physical nature and properties, but I learned even more about a mother’s heart. Ryne’s first week in the NICU at two different hospitals was the best and worst week of my life. I felt so many raw emotions and had a constant underlying fear for my baby.
In the big picture, he was one of the healthier babies in the NICU and CICU (Cardiac Intensive Care Unit), but it brought about a new awareness that life is precious and even in the midst of hardship, to be thankful. I don’t know if I’d say I would want to go through it all again, but I feel blessed and have a greater understanding of the Father’s love and His love for us.
I’m happy to report today that Ryne is doing great. He is a super happy little boy and a pure delight to us. He adores his big brother and tries his best to keep up with him.

- I downloaded and started reading Ape House by Sara Gruen
- Ryne slept 3+ hours so Carter and I watched a movie(Carter)/napped(me- until the neighbor started snow blowing- annoying that they have a snow blower, yes; annoying that they were doing it while I was trying to nap, double yes)

What's in a name?
so unless you're part of inspired district, my uber-cool craft group or you read craig and whitney, the title of my blog, group two, probably doesn't make sense.
i am the privileged mother of boys and I love all three of my guys with all my heart. with that said, there are two types of mothers of just boys... the type where it is apparent they have male offspring and have decided if they can't beat 'em, join 'em in their snakes and snails and puppy dog tails ways.
then there is the other type, or group two, as i like to refer to them, where despite the masculine majority, mom is not over run by all things boy and still delights in the feminine. this is where my allegiance lies; sugar and spice and everything nice, and pink.
hugs, chat later!

Welcome to the future
this past fall, thanks to my neighbor, heather, and also due to the fact that i'm confined to a rocking chair for 20+ minutes about 6 times a day nursing, i've discovered the blogging world; design blogs, party planning blogs, diy blogs, celebrity gossip err... news blogs. i am hooked.
so what's a super busy, tired, people pleasing, perfectionist mom to do?? start her own blog of course. enjoy reading about our life, my boys, projects i'm working on and whatever else i can get on my soapbox about.
hugs, chat later.
